Verification

Linking your Discord account to your Roblox account, once, for the whole network.

Doing it​

Run /verify in any server that has Utilities. The bot replies privately with a button. Press it, sign in to Roblox, and you are done.

That is the whole process. Roblox handles the sign-in, so you never type a Roblox password anywhere except Roblox's own page, and the bot never sees it.

Within a few seconds you get:

  • Your roles, in every Titanite server you are already in, matching your rank in that group's Roblox group
  • Your nickname, set to whatever format that server uses
  • A Titanite ID, a number like #1471 that identifies you across the whole network

You only do this once​

Join a second Titanite server a month later and you already have roles before you finish reading the rules. The link belongs to you, not to the server you made it in.

What your Titanite ID is​

One number for the person, not for the account.

If you have two Roblox accounts and three Discord accounts, all six can hang off one Titanite ID. Anyone looking any of them up sees the same record, and a ban on one is a ban on all of them.

Run /profile to see yours, or /whois on somebody else to see theirs.

Serial numbers​

Some servers put a four-digit number in your nickname, like D-4471. That is your serial, and it comes from your Titanite ID.

It is yours permanently. Unverify, verify again a year later, and you get the same four digits. It is not your join order and it does not go up over time, so nobody can read it as seniority.

Keeping it current​

Utilities re-reads your Roblox rank on its own, in the background, so a promotion in the Roblox group turns up in Discord without anybody doing anything. That pass takes a while to come round to you.

If you have just been promoted and want it now, run /update. It re-reads your rank immediately and fixes your roles and nickname.

/update also works on somebody else if you are HR, which is the fastest way to fix one person complaining about a missing role.

Unlinking​

Run /unverify. Your roles come off, your nickname reverts, and your link is removed.

Your Titanite ID and its record stay. Punishments do not disappear because somebody unverified, which is the entire point of keeping the record against a person rather than an account.

It's not working​

"You are already verified" but you have no roles. Run /update. The link is fine, the roles just have not been applied in this server. If that does not fix it, this server may not have a rank binding for your rank yet, which is something its admins set up.

Verification finished but nothing happened. Roles land through a queue rather than instantly. Give it a minute. If it is still nothing, you may not be in that group's Roblox group at all, in which case there is no rank to give you a role for.

Your nickname is cut off. Discord caps nicknames at 32 characters and cuts from the right. A long Roblox display name pushes everything after it off the end. Server admins can put the serial at the front of the format to stop that.

You verified on the wrong Roblox account. Run /unverify, then /verify again and sign in to the right one. If you have already gained ranks on the first one, ask HR rather than doing it yourself.

You verified on the wrong Discord account. Sign out on the verify page and start again. The page has a sign-out control for exactly this, because signing in as the wrong person and not being able to get back out was the most common way this went wrong.
