Checking an account before you let it in.

Looking somebody up

/lookup target: SomeUsername

Six panes on one message, and you page between them with the buttons. It works in a DM as well as in a server, because deciding whether to trust an account is something you often do before you have anywhere to run a command.

The Links pane needs HR. The Rayward pane is for Titanite staff only, and it answers privately (see below). Everything else comes from public sources, and anyone can see it.

The Rayward pane

Rayward is a safety service that collects flags from several moderation groups. A flag records conduct that broke a platform's rules: predatory behaviour toward minors, hate speech, violent extremism, scams and fraud, or cheating.

Its answers are for Titanite staff: an HR or ISD rank in a Titanite group, or a staff role on titanite.family. Which server you're in makes no difference.

• Press Rayward and the answer comes back as a message only you can see. The lookup message the rest of the channel sees never shows anything from Rayward, and neither does its risk score.
• Anyone else who presses it gets a note saying the pane is for staff. Utilities looks nothing up for them.
• A flag names the group that raised it, "Flag from Rotector via Rayward", and links where the person named can appeal. If you ban someone over a flag, put that source in the ban reason.
• Utilities takes no action on a flag, except one: a confirmed or banned flag holds that verification for staff review. The person isn't linked, and nothing else happens to them until staff decide. The verify page names the group behind the flag and where to appeal. Everything else is a person's call.
• Utilities keeps nothing. An answer stays in memory for 15 minutes at most and never goes into a database.

When somebody verifies, Utilities checks the account with Rayward and tells HR in each of that person's servers about a flag. It also tells HR when the check couldn't run, so an unchecked account never links in silence.

Reviewing a held verification

A confirmed or banned flag at verification holds the verification instead of linking it. Staff in the person's servers get an entry in the log channel naming the group behind the flag, with Approve and Reject.

• Pressing either one shows you, privately, what Rayward says right now, then asks you to confirm. A flag can change after the hold, so you decide on current data.
• Approve links the account and syncs their roles, as a normal verification would. Reject leaves them unverified. They're told either way, and every server's entry shows who decided.
• Only staff can decide: HR in that server, with an HR or ISD rank in a Titanite group or a staff role on titanite.family. Nobody can decide their own verification.
• Nothing else happens to them. A hold doesn't ban, block or change anyone's status. If you ban somebody over the flag later, put its source in the ban reason.

Reading the answer honestly

Nothing on file is not the same as clean. It means nobody filed anything. Every pane says so in those words rather than reporting a clear result, and that is not hedging. A brand new alt has nothing on file by definition.

The risk score is one line, not the answer. Every source keeps its own attribution underneath it, so you can see a 70 built from one archive ban differently from a 70 built from four weak signals.

A red archive could not be reached. If a source failed, the pane says so instead of showing an empty list. An empty list and a failed fetch look identical and mean opposite things.

Alt accounts

If the account you looked up shares a Titanite ID with an account that is on file, the lookup says so and names it, even when the account in front of you is spotless.

That matters more than anything else on the page. The account somebody types into /lookup is usually the one they just met, which for anybody hiding is the newest alt with the cleanest history.

Deep scans

/intel scan query: SomeUsername

Heavier than /lookup: it walks the whole friends list and group list against the blocklists and bio keywords, and returns everything it found rather than a page at a time. It sits at ISD level because it is expensive rather than because it is secret. Rayward isn't part of a scan, because a scan's reply lands where the whole channel can read it. Check Rayward from /lookup instead.

The blocklist

Three severities:

• AUTO_BAN stops the account verifying at all
• FLAG marks it for review
• WATCH records it quietly

Adding to the blocklist is Management. Reading it is HR. The list is read by Roblox games and by other groups through the API, so an entry here reaches further than your own server.

Notes and privacy

/intel note attaches a note to a Titanite ID. /intel private hides somebody from public lookups. Both are identity actions and sit high, because turning privacy off exposes a person who chose to be hidden.

It's not working

/lookup found nothing on an account you know is bad. Check the Links pane. If the person has other accounts and one of those carries the record, the lookup names it. Nothing at all means nothing was filed, which is a gap in the archive rather than a verdict.

The Record pane says the archive could not be reached. Treat that result as unknown, not as clean. Try again in a minute.

Rayward says "Unflagged". That means nothing has been detected yet. It is not a review and it is not a clearance.

The Rayward pane says "not checked". Rayward couldn't answer, so the account wasn't checked. Treat the result as unknown, not as clean, and try again later.

The verify page says my verification is waiting for staff review. Rayward holds a confirmed or banned flag on that Roblox account, so staff in your servers need to approve it. The page names the group that raised the flag: appeal the flag with them. Nothing else happens to your account while you wait.

An Approve button says the hold is gone. Rayward stopped flagging the account and it verified as normal, or somebody in another server already decided. The entry's buttons disappear once pressed.

Pressing Rayward says it's for staff. Only Titanite staff can open it: an HR or ISD rank in a Titanite group, or a staff role on titanite.family. Being an admin in your own server doesn't count.

/intel blockuser says you do not have permission. Blocklist writes are Management. Reading the list is HR. The split is deliberate, because a blocklist entry is published to other groups.

A friends list came back empty for an account with friends. The read failed rather than finding nothing, and the pane says so. An empty friends list is never reported as a clean result.
